☆.Natural Hair: Bantu Knot out 'Attempt'.☆

Heya guys Happy Sunday!

So I know its been a while since I've posted anything on my natural hair, tutorials etc. I do still love my natural hair but you know it can get a bit tiring sometimes (lets just be honest) the twisting, the braiding, finding a style that works and lasts! Nonetheless I decided to give my natural hair some loving this last week and I've reconnected with my beautiful Maine once again ^-^.

Below is my attempt at a Bantu Knot out, although I didn't get the results I expected I realised that my knots where far too big for me to get enough definition (especially having a 4b-c texture). Next time I try this style I will use smaller sections.

☆. Versatility of Crotchet Braids.☆

As a natural I am always putting my hair in protective styles as I feel constantly styling my hair can be a pain and I just wanna put it awayyy!! As you guys probably know by now crotchet braids are my go-to hairstyle, when I have nothing else in mind to do (which seems to be all the time)..

I've always wanted to see what a bob type hairstyle would look on me so when I'd finally reach the point when I thought my crotchet braids were ready to be taken down I decided to cut them into a bob just to see what it would look like and here are the results!

☆.Protective Style of Last Month: Quick Miko Wig.☆

So I have recently become obsessed with buying wigs just because I see them as an easy go-to protective style on those days you feel like doing nothing to your hair.  My protective style for last month was the Miko wig.

The wig was purchased from paks for around £23 in colour T33B.

So I started with my braid pattern which was just a simple all back style (doesn't have to be neat)

☆.Natural Hair: Everyday Styles.☆

Its been a while I did a post on my natural hair and I just wanted to come in an update you guys on whats going on with my hair and my go-to styles. I will be hitting my 2 year post relaxer mark in September, time goes so fast and well although I am happy with the health of my hair I do feel like I could have achieved more length. Since I have been natural I have only had one trim and for those of you that know trimming your hair (natural or not) is a MUST as the ends are the oldest part of your hair. So I will definitely be getting a trim ASAP and keeping up with my hair care journey.

Here are some recent pictures of my natural hair styles and you can see that my colour has grown out quite a lot, I doubt I will be recolouring my hair again just because it is hard work maintaining coloured hair (all the extra moisture it needs).

This post was more about showing you guys my go-to styles when my hair is not a protective style (braids, twists, crotchet braids).

                                                           My usual twist-out puff.
